Looking Forward

Looking Forward with Ballston Lake EMS

As Ballston Lake EMS (BLEMS) celebrates over 70 years of service, we remain focused on the future. The needs of our community continue to grow and evolve, and our agency is committed to adapting with them. From investing in new equipment and technology to expanding training opportunities, BLEMS is preparing for the next generation of emergency medical care.

One of our top priorities is recruiting and developing future EMS providers. Through our Volunteer Trainee to Volunteer EMT Program, school partnerships, and community outreach, we aim to inspire local youth and adults to step forward and serve. By supporting education and mentorship, BLEMS ensures that our agency will always have strong, capable providers ready to respond when the community calls.

Looking ahead, we are also committed to strengthening community partnerships. Whether through health and safety education, outreach events, or mutual aid with neighboring EMS agencies, BLEMS believes collaboration is key to building a safer, healthier Saratoga County.

Most importantly, we will continue to uphold the values that have guided us since 1951: professionalism, compassion, and the simple but powerful principle of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.”

The future of BLEMS is bright, and with the continued support of our members, partners, and community, we will be ready for whatever challenges tomorrow brings.
