At 8:26 this morning, the Ballston Lake Fire Department was activated to respond to a house on fire on Midline Road. A swift and carefully executed response led to the fire being extinguished and the situation controlled quickly. Daytime calls during the week are traditionally difficult to fully staff, as many of our volunteers work daytime jobs. The outpouring of support from the men and women from our mutual aid agencies was amazing and the teamwork hugely contributed to our success.
