NIMS

EMI replaced its Incident Command System (ICS) curricula with courses that meet the requirements specified in the National Incident Management System (NIMS). EMI developed the new courses collaboratively with the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG), the United States Fire Administration and the United States Department of Agriculture. 

  

ICS

The Training and Exercise Program offers both customized curricula developed by SEMO as well as other courses available through our Disaster Preparedness Commission (DPC) partners, FEMA's Emergency Management Institute and other related sites.

To assist in compliance with Executive Order #26.1 and HSPD-5, SEMO provides a number of training opportunities in the Incident Command System (ICS).
